Zhang lab is looking for Ph.D. students to work on fungal genetics, large-scale phenotyping, and microbial interactions. The Ph.D. students will use system biology approaches and a CRISPR-Cas9 system to discover key pathways that are used by fungal monocultures or fungal/bacterial interactions to efficiently degrade wood biomass. Students who are interested in this position can send you application materials to the lab PI (Jiwei Zhang) at [email protected].
